Let’s go girls.

  • Are you and your girlfriends the adventurous type? Look no further. Feel the comfort of a hotel with the calmness of the backcountry in your Winderberry Geodesic Dome Tent! Spend each night in your private hot tub with a glass of bubbly and wake up surrounded by nature. Fill your weekend with fun activities such as a guided hike (did someone say mountain-top fondue?) with Playwest Mountain Experience, flying through the air with Invermere Zipline Adventures, or taking an ATV tour with Toby Creek Adventures! Don’t forget to grab your morning coffee and lunch to-go from Kootenay Coffee Works before you head out into the mountains. In the evenings, grab some poutine from The Snack Bar and take it to Radium Brewery for some craft beer and live music, or visit Smokehouse 93 for a delicious beef brisket! Before you leave town, be sure to check out Valhalla Pure Outfitters for all your adventure gear and Om Organics for local skincare!

  • Mountain views, pool, spa and dining wrapped all into one? You’d better check yourself into Copper Point Resort for the weekend. Start the day with breakfast at Elements restaurant, followed by 18-holes at one of the many options in Invermere, including Copper Point, Eagle Ranch or Greywolf. Each of these golf club’s have fantastic restaurants on site for any birdy-juice and a filling meal. Want to try something new? Check out Fusion spa for a Clay Wrap, or relax in Radium Hot Spring’s pools. Spend your evenings having a picnic by the lake or watching the sunset from the water on a paddle board rented from Syndicate Board shop. And don’t forget to book yourself in for a yoga class at Mountain Home Yoga. Before you leave town, be sure to do some retail therapy in downtown at HerPublic or Bird’s Eye Boutique.

  • For those looking to dance (and/or drink!) the night (and/or day!) away and need a central location, you’ll be looking to book the Invermere Inn & Suites, the only hotel located in downtown Invermere. (Please note that Invermere does not have a taxi service.) Line your stomachs with a hearty sandwich and soup at Blue Dog Cafe, before heading out on the Invermere Entertainment’s boat for an afternoon of sun, dancing and diving on Windermere Lake. After a siesta back at the hotel and an early dinner at ULLR bar, head down to Taynton Bay Distillery for a private tasting. If you’ve still got energy after your day of fun, you know the ULLR bar will be waiting for you with a DJ until 1am! In the morning, there’s no better place for brunch than at Begginnings! Try their signature chicken & waffles to replenish your energy. And before you leave town, take a wander around Winderberry & Edibles Farm for some delicious local goods.

Here come the boys.

  • If this weekend is all about getting out in the mountains and going on an adventure, you need to start by calling Far Out Gear Rentals - be it mountain bikes, kayaks or paddle boards - they’ve got it all. Wanna turn things up a notch? Go to Pete’s Marina for jet ski or boat rentals - see how long you can stay on the wakeboard! Try some local craft beer at Arrowhead Brewery and get takeout from Peppi’s Pizza to replenish all that well-spent energy! And don’t forget to leave town without checking out Columbia Valley Cycle to see what new gear they have in stock!

  • Whether you’re a 9, 18 or 36 holes kind of group, Invermere has something for everyone! Book your rooms at the recently refurbished Headwaters Lodge or Cabins at Eagle Ranch Resort. Take your pick from Copper Point, Eagle Ranch and Greywolf golf courses. And don’t forget to book your tee time(s) strategically around mealtimes and indulge in one of the many mountain-facing restaurants. Finish your evening with dinner at The Station Pub and try their Taynton Bay tasters for some world-renowned vodka! Don’t forget to grab a coffee and pastry from Invermere Bakery for your drive home!

  • If you’ve come to town to party the weekend away - look no further.
