House of the Friesians - Stunning Spring Celebration
Nestled between the majestic Purcell Mountain & Rocky Mountain range, a beautiful celebration of love unfolded against a sunny Spring day. Hosted at the charming House of the Friesians, rustic charm met shabby chic elegance in a wedding that was as heartwarming as it was picturesque.
Victoria & Tommy met for the first time in high school, but fell in love later in life. After dating for almost 10 years, they finally tied the knot in the beautiful Columbia Valley! Rosie Leigh Events is so thankful to be a part of this special day.
Rocky Mountain Perfection
House of the Friesians is the perfect mountain venue for anyone looking for epic, panoramic mountain views. They offer several rental spaces, including the barn, the cabin & the shelter. There is plenty of room for everyone, including on-site accommodation!
Rustic Decor
The House of the Friesians barn already has so much character to it, it doesn’t take much to make it feel beautiful inside!
Like what you see? Create your decor shopping list: dusty pink table runners, dried wheat grass, eucalyptus garland & wooden chargers.
Super sweetheart
Having a sweetheart table is a fantastic way to experience your reception together. Ensure you get the fullest version of your regular table decor to make it pop!
First Look in the Woods
Victoria & Tommy opted to do their vows and first look privately onsite before the ceremony. Can you imagine a more perfect spot?
Jaw-dropping ceremony views
This is what getting married in the Rocky Mountains is all about! House of the Friesians offers fantastic views all around, and their ceremony space is no exception!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed some canapes, and a coffee bar provided by Trotters Catering. Everyone moved into the barn for a delicious meal that was made complete with heart-warming speeches, and even a song by Victoria’s mother & father. It was certainly a day to remember!
